LEC CEO Greg Long joins the NECA Political Leadership Council!

In April of 2011, Long journeyed to
Washington
D.C. to participate in legislative meetings as a member of the NECA Political Leadership Council. The Political Leadership Council helps to integrate political action, member involvement, and legislative results. It is open to all NECA members and chapters with dedication and commitment to a vigorous government affairs program, and it helps NECA make an ever-stronger impact on the national legislative landscape. NECA has achieved significant success in defining and shaping our industry’s national issues (necanet.org).

Long Electric Company’s CEO
Greg Long is an active member within the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), and has held a seat on the Northern California Chapter’s Board of Directors since 1994. During such time, NECA has continued toward its long-term goal to advance the industry through advocacy, education, research, and standards development. In addition to being a board member, Long serves as Chairman to the Napa-Solano Electrical Contractor Trust and Co-Chair to the Napa-Solano Labor Management Committee.
