Long Electric Company,
the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) and the International
Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) partnered up to donate two baseball
scoreboards to the local community. The
first scoreboard was installed at
VintageHigh School; and the

With the cost of every
natural resource on the rise, we thought that you could use some simple energy
saving tips. Look around your home or
business for practices that apply.
Increasing numbers of people are choosing to work from their
homes. With this trend comes a need for
higher levels of ambient lighting without reflected glare on computer
screens. Portable compact fluorescent
lamps and task lights provide a comfortable work environment without a high
capital investment or costly electricity bills.
Pools and spas come in every shape and size. Swimming pools range in size from wading
pools for young children, to Olympic sized pools that accommodate many
people. Spas also come in different
sizes and can accommodate many people at a time. They all require some sort of electrical
connection to keep them working properly.
Electric pumps, filters, heaters, and lighting all play a part in their
day-to-day operation and maintenance.
As you may already know,Long Electric Company is celebrating its 18th Anniversary thisyear. In recognition of this milestone,we will be hosting an Open House at our Corporate Office in

Long Electric Lights the Way
In his office at Long Electric, President Greg Long has a collection of baseball memorabilia. It not only reflects the interests of the sports-loving Long family, but also it embodies the spirit that guides the family-owned business -- the can-do attitude that strives for the best in a company that is, as its slogan promises, "large enough to do the job, small enough to care."
