The increased utilization of BIM on projects demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement through utilization of advanced technologies and improved company processes.

This project included a full electrical build-out of an existing 8th and 9th floor warm shell, spanning 30,000 sq. ft per floor. In addition to the 8th and 9th floor build, substantial electrical improvements were required to the building’s main electrical distribution on the first floor and rooftop HVAC equipment.  The project electrical scope included a new main switchboard, generator, UPS, lighting, lighting controls, lab power, power to HVAC Equipment, low voltage raceways, and the installation of a brand new fire alarm system on each floor.

The project required the utilization of Building Information Modeling (BIM) to coordinate overhead conduit and also process piping, ductwork, framing, plumbing and fire sprinklers.  BIM was critical to the electrical building and our coordination with other overhead systems. The increased utilization of BIM on projects demonstrates our commitment to continuous improvement through utilization of advanced technologies and improved company processes.
